Industrial Reverse Osmosis Systems RO-400

Industrial Reverse Osmosis Systems RO-400

Description

Industrial Reverse Osmosis systems remove up to 99.9% of salts and contaminates from different impure feed water sources including municipal, brackish and surface water. The system blocks bacteria, particles, sugars, proteins, dyes, and impurities that encompass a molecular weight of more than 150-250 Dalton.

This equipment is primarily customized to suit individual customers and different water applications. The RO-400 Series is recognized as one of the most compact industrial reverse osmosis system on the market, built with state of the art energy saving membranes.

The design of the RO-400 Series skid mounted industrial reverse osmosis system, takes into consideration certain matters such as robust construction, user friendly design, environmentally friendly material, and long-term reliability.

Containerized / Mobile Reverse Osmosis RO Systems

We offer fully containerized/mobile RO water treatment systems that are assembled inside of an ISO standard shipping container. Each container is customized for each individual water treatment application making it easy to install and operate with high efficiency, a compact foot print, and energy saving features.

Industrial Reverse Osmosis RO Water Treatment Process

Industrial reverse osmosis plant includes a multimedia prefilter, water softener or antiscalant dosing system, dechlorination dosing system, reverse osmosis unit with semi-permeable membranes, and ultraviolet sterilizers or post chlorination as a post treatment. These RO machines apply the technology of reverse osmosis by transporting feed water through a multimedia prefilter to remove particles that are larger than 10-micron. Then the water is injected by an antiscalant chemical to control hardness fouling that may cause damage to the membranes of the RO machine. These pretreatment options have the capability of removing hardness, chlorine, odors, color, iron, and sulfur. The water then continues into the reverse osmosis unit where a high-pressure pump applies extreme pressure to the highly concentrated solution, separating the remaining salts, minerals, and impurities that the pre-filter cannot catch. Fresh, potable water comes out from the low-pressure end of the membrane while salts, minerals, and other impurities are discharged into a drain on the other end. Lastly, the water is passed through a UV sterilizer (or post chlorination) to kill any bacteria and microbes that still exist in the water.

High Capacity Industrial RO System

Economical and efficient, an RO-400 industrial reverse osmosis system incorporates the latest in RO technology to remove dissolved salts, particles, organics, minerals, tannins, solids and other impurities from water. Industrial RO system manufacturers utilize reverse osmosis membranes as its core separation technology to block these impurities. Pure Aqua utilizes the most reputable membranes manufacturers such as Dow Filmtec and Hydranautics.

As part of our industrial line, the RO unit can accommodate 28,000 to 173,000 GPD, with feed water total dissolved solids (TDS) ranging from 1,000 to 5,000 ppm. These RO machines can come standard with pre and post treatment components. Customization such as higher feed water TDS, low water operating temperature, future expandability, variable pressure design using VFD, outputs for BMS system, data logging and remote monitoring.

Industrial Reverse Osmosis System Buying Guide

In order to choose the correct RO model number, the following information must be provided:

    1. Flow rate (GPD, m3/day, etc.)
    2. Feed water TDS and water analysis: this information is important to prevent membranes from fouling, as well as help us choose the correct pre-treatment.
    3. Iron and manganese must be removed before the water enters reverse osmosis unit
    4. TSS must be removed before entering the Industrial RO system
    5. SDI for feedwater must be less than 3
    6. Water should be free from oil and grease
    7. Chlorine must be removed
    8. Available voltage, phase, and frequency (208, 460, 380, 415V)
    9. Dimensions of projected area where Industrial RO System will be installed

Note: If the feed water TDS exceeds 1,000 ppm, the system model number changes to BW-XXXK-XXXX, and a suffix is added to the end of the model number: “-3” is added if the TDS is 3,000 ppm or less, and “-5” is added if the TDS is 5,000 ppm or less. Example: Required system to produce 130,000 GPD with a feed water TDS of 5,000 ppm, the corresponding model number is: “BW-130K-3680-5”.
