Water Challenges: Much of the drinking water supplied to Americans are extracted from surface water sources such as lakes, rivers, and artificial water bodies. Surface water sources are preferred over groundwater for the reason of being much easier to purify during the treatment process. However, unlike groundwater which is naturally filtered once pulled out from the ground, surface water is vulnerable and accumulates many unwanted impurities, such as bacteria, parasites, and viruses. For this reason, advanced water treatment such as multi-media filters are required to convert surface water (aluminum reduction from water) into fresh, clean drinking water.
Applied Solution: Pure Aqua has manufactured two sets of stainless steel Multi Media Filters, with each tank having a capacity of 330 GPM, and 660 GPM when used in conjunction. The Multi Media Filters to be used in an airport in Abu Dhabi, UAE and were highly successful in treating the issue of contaminated surface water in the area.
