<p align="justify">From its initial start-up, the SWRO system has been operating accordingly with minimal trouble-shooting. An industrial seawater RO system is designed to eliminate enormous quantities of salt and other contaminants from seawater using a technology called reverse osmosis. The reverse osmosis technology consists of using a high pressure pump which exerts extreme pressure to salty water, pushing it through semi-permeable membranes while rejecting salts and other contaminants from going through. The amount of pressure that needs to be applies relies on the ocean&#8217;s specific TDS and temperature. The RO membranes are specifically built to remove particulates while dividing the feed water between purified water and rejected concentrated salts. The salts and the other contaminants are discarded into the brine stream then flushed into a drain. Finally, purified water with 99% less dissolved salts comes out on the permeate side and is ready to be collected.</p>

Feed water to the package is processed water with a raw water TDS of about 1,500 PPM. The package design was based on a high rejection TFC spiral wound low fouling membrane. The Reverse Osmosis Kit was selected from our RO-500 Series, model # BW-360K-8680-3 It produces 200 GPM of drinking water with TDS less than 100 mg/L. The Reverse Osmosis Package consists of 5-micron cartridge filters to reduce feed water Silt Density Index (SDI) and to limit the SS to 5-micron size. TFC spiral wound membranes have a recovery rate of 80% with an advanced microprocessor control panel and cleaning system.</p>

<p><span>P</span><span>u</span><span>r</span><span>e Aqua successfully manufactured and supplied to a major water treatment company in Dubai UAE, more than 15 units of Commercial Brackish Water Reverse Osmosis (BWRO) Units to produce different capacities between 1,500 GPD to 6, 000 GPD at a maximum 2000 ppm feed water TDS.&nbsp;</span>Reverse osmosis occurs when the water is moved across the membrane against the concentration gradient, from lower concentration to higher concentration. To illustrate, imagine a semi-permeable membrane with fresh water on one side and a concentrated aqueous solution on the other side. If normal osmosis takes place, the fresh water will cross the membrane to dilute the concentrated solution. In reverse osmosis, pressure is exerted on the side with the concentrated solution to force the water molecules across the membrane to the fresh water side.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p align="justify">The commercial brackish water reverse osmosis units were selected from our RO-200 series, model numbers TW-0.6K-125 through TW-6.0K-440. These units consists of high rejection, TFC spiral wound membranes that have a recovery rate of 60% for permeate water. Each unit has an advanced microprocessor control panel, used to navigate and measure the flow rates. Most of these models use 1 to 4 membranes for water and salt separation. Reverse osmosis occurs when the water is moved across the membrane against the concentration gradient, from lower concentration to higher concentration. The water pressure is exerted on the side of the membrane with the concentrated solution to force the water molecules across the membrane to the fresh water side.</p>
<p align="justify">Each unit has the capacity to clean water with a TDS of 2,000 ppm or lower, being able to clean tap water and high salinity water. All of these units are designed to operate at a temperature range of 25 Celsius or above. These systems are capable of removing salts and other impurities with a molecular weight greater than 150-250 Dalton. The feed water first passes through a heavy duty 5 micron sediment filter to remove odor and taste, it then goes through an RO membrane for the separation of salt and water. In the final stage the water gets post treated through an ultra violet sterilizer to disinfect the water before consumption. Each unit is equipped with a low and high pressure switch for safety precaution.</p>
